The film cracks you up when it’s being self-aware of the ridiculousness it’s pushing, with Naresh constantly reiterating about how the whole thing lacks ‘logic’. Yes, the nods to Ashok’s lineage are fun, so are the scenes where Brahmaji makes an appearance at the fag end of the film just to poke fun at the ‘pan-India’ phenomenon TFI is currently going through apart from the massive age gap that exists between star heroes and their leading ladies. In fact, it maybe would’ve worked too had it played out like a self-aware dark comedy minus the frills.
